Contracting for agile development projects is fundamentally different from traditional project contracting. Using traditional contracts can jeopardise the implementation of an agile project and can lead to its failure.
The speed with which agile methodologies have been embraced has sadly not been reflected in the traditional approach to writing contracts, and one of the reasons is the lack of a template that addresses legal and commercial concerns.
