The HR SIG is led by a steering group of volunteers who are committed to connecting HR more closely with the values and principles of agility.

Meet-ups
With a focus on Organisational Development, Human Intelligence and Culture, the HR Special Interest Group meet once a quarter and is served by an asynchronous online community space to facilitate regular peer support. You can find, join and download calendar invites for all of our specialist communities directly from the communities platform.
There are a number of upcoming events and meet-ups taking place as part of the HR:SIG.
Join us on 16 April for an online event hosted by the Agile Business Consortium's Learning Designer Niamh Trundle, as she will explore how organisations can design learning experiences that create real behavioural change, or come and listen to Perry Timms and his team talk about about learning in practice, at our Learning at Work focussed event on 6 May.

Steering Group of Volunteers
Emily Morgan
Emily is an experienced Learning & Development (L&D) professional who proudly embraces her diverse career journey. This squiggly path has led her to a unique opportunity: integrating agility and agile practices into the HR and L&D professions. Introduced to Agile several years ago by a fellow steering group member (thanks, Perry!), Emily's initial interest quickly blossomed into a deep passion.
As a freelance L&D consultant, Emily champions the use of tools and methods typically found in the software industry to challenge traditional HR norms and discover more effective ways to deliver value. She is a qualified Agile Coach and Scrum Master, but she believes the most significant changes come through conversation, curiosity, and an agile mindset that fosters continuous growth and adaptation.
Jeroen Venneman
For more than 25 years, Jeroen has helped organizations such as Rabobank, ING, VodafoneZiggo, and the Dutch Tax Administration achieve meaningful and sustainable change — supporting them in becoming truly responsive and value-focused enterprises, taking agility to the next level across the organization. He supports leaders, teams and organisationes in developing the mindset, structures, and energy needed to thrive in an ever-changing world. His vision: agile people create responsive organizations.
Jeroen is Chair of the Agile Consortium Netherlands and a passionate community builder. He contributes to the professional field as the author of a number of books, including Agile focus in governance - Pocket guide for executives in transformation, and as co-creator of several agile leadership games. He also serves as a reviewer for the Business Agility Awards and is co-initiator of the Agile Consortium’s Certify to Inspire program.

Perry Timms
Perry Timms has over three decades of experience in business change and performance, with the last 23 years in HR/Organisation Development. He ranked Number 1 in HR's Most Influential Thinkers 2022 (his fifth inclusion in that list) and is now in the HR Most Influential Hall of Fame.
He is a 4x Guest Professor, a 2x TEDx speaker, a 3x Author, 4x Engagement 101 Global Influencer plus 2024’s Global People & Culture Icon. Perry is a Chartered Member of the CIPD, a Fellow of the RSA and in 2024 was honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award for his work in self-managed, democratic organisations, and a Thinkers 360 Top 100 Global HR Influencer.
