Business Agility Knowledge Network

Terms of Reference

The Agile Business Consortium is the not-for-profit professional body championing the power of Business Agility in the world. Its purpose is to improve the world of work by advancing business agility worldwide.

This network is for those organisations who wish to improve and extend their business agility. The Consortium recognises that meaningful connections and collaboration with peers in other organisations and across different industries are powerful sources of support for improvement.

This group is not open to consultancies and those providing agile services or products. It is designed for organisations to share what they are seeing and hearing while on their own organisational transformation journey.

The Vision

Organisations can meet and share experience and knowledge around the topics scheduled with a view to each organisation leaving with something new to experiment with or take forward. Actionable outcomes are our goal.

No more than five organisations will participate in each discussion within a single Zoom room, allowing strong relationships to be created and every organisation to contribute fully.

To participate in each discussion, please accept the calendar invitation to receive further details, including reflection questions and resources for the topic. Notes on the insights from the call will only be circulated to those who attend.

The Agile Business Consortium commits to:

  • Provide a virtual space for members to connect and share
  • Arrange monthly meetings with alternative time zone options
  • Facilitate meetings for the benefit of all attendees
  • Prepare and circulate outputs from meetings to attendees
  • Provide additional resources relating to the topic being explored
  • Support this group to develop in business agility
  • Broker inter-organisational support, reciprocal coaching and mentoring arrangements
  • Provide guidance around the use of the business agility toolkit – for instance, culture, leadership, or collaboration
  • Offer occasional free access for attendees to elements of the business agility toolkit
  • Avoid recording meetings and publishing attributed content, to ensure a safe space for sharing
  • Provide early access to new models, tools and products
  • Offer this group a voice to help shape the future of business agility

In return, the Agile Business Consortium requests participating organisations to:

  • Accept or decline calendar invitations so that numbers attending can be managed to allow full participation
  • Provide up to two pre-booked representatives at the meetings so the facilitator is clear who is expected
  • Share knowledge and experience freely within meetings in an atmosphere of trust
  • Chatham House/Vegas rule will apply for meetings

Acceptance of calendar invitations for this Network implies acceptance of these Terms of Reference.
